I am a Wiltshire based artist, painter and prolific sketcher, with a strong link to the surrounding landscape, especially that of Salisbury Plain and the rich Aviation heritage of this area.

Having a background in publishing, illustration and art teaching, I have a particular focus on a tough yet free approach to drawing and sound painterly methods. I am constantly observing, painting, and sketching across Salisbury Plain and its surrounding areas.

As a member of the prestigious Guild of Aviation Artists since 2002, I have enjoyed access to various places of aviation interest, and received several awards from the Guild including the Frank Wootton Oil Painting Prize, John Blake Drawing Prize, and the SBAC Trophy for most competent painting.
Work depicting the Royal Air Force is exhibited at the RAF Museum, Cosford, Shropshire, as well as the upcoming Guild's Annual Exhibition at London's Mall Galleries in July.

Following on from a major solo exhibtion at Salisbury's Fisherton Mill Gallery in 2018, further investigations of Wiltshire's landscape now see new works in #PAUSE exploring landscape and domestic views created entirely during this years lockdown period. The exhibition runs from August 22nd to September 26th 2020.

Works are held within private and museum collections in the UK, Europe, USA, Asia and Canada.

Please feel free to talk to me regarding any images of particular interest to you on this website, as these are only a fraction of my output.
